PIX: Uday Chopra, living it up in Cannes!

The actor and now a Hollywood producer is clearly excited about his Cannes sojourn!

Dhoom 3 actor Uday Chopra was one of the first desi stars to arrive in Cannes for the 67th edition of its revered film festival.

Remember when Yash Raj had announced back in 2011 that they were setting up a Hollywood production wing to be helmed by Uday Chopra in the US?

Well, the YRF scion was in the French Riviera in the capacity of co-producer of Nicole Kidman starrer Grace of Monaco, the festival's opening film.

A visibly excited Uday posted a picture with the scenic city in the background on Twitter and wrote, 'Doing the Cannes thing'

The actor also attended the film's photocall on May 14.

He wrote before heading out, 'Grace Of Monaco time #GraceOfMonaco'

An American-French biography film about the life of late Hollywood legend and later wife of Prince of Monaco Grace Kelly, the film is directed by Olivier Dahan and written, co-produced by Arash Amel.

Although the film was generally panned by the critics attending the film festival, Uday rose a toast to his maiden Hollywood venture.

'Here's to Grace', he wrote with this picture.

Chopra also ventured out to check out the local party scene in the idyllic Parisian city.

'Hard at work!' he cheekily reported to his thousands of followers.

Later, he attended the film's grand premiere with director Olivier Dahan, cast members Tim Roth, Nicole Kidman, Parker Posey and Paz Vega, producer Pierre-Ange Le Pogam and screenwriter and producer Arash Ame.
