PIX: Television actress Shweta Tiwari's sangeet ceremony

Television actress Shweta Tiwari, who had revealed on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa before being voted out that she'd be tying the knot with actor beau Abhinav Kohli soon, kicked off her pre-wedding celebrations with a sangeet ceremony in Mumbai over the weekend.

The do was attended by her family and close friends from the industry.

Tiwari's costar in several Bhojpuri films, singer-actor Manoj Tiwari turned up to wish the happy couple.

The singer also performed at the do while the guests danced to his tunes.

The actress's daughter from her first marriage to actor Raja Chaudhary, Palak Chaudhary was one of the performers of the night.

Comedienne Bharti Singh, who has worked with Shweta Tiwari on a comedy show and actress Jayati Bhatia, a former Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa contestant, put together a joint performance at the ceremony.

Former costars and couple Indraneil and Barkha Bisht brought their daughter Meira along for the sangeet.

Actor Karanvir Bohra, who's also a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, arrived with his choreographer on the show Sneha Kapoor.
