Mallika, Minissha take off for Cannes

The Cannes Film Festival kicks off today and several Bollywood stars willl be in attendance this year, right from red carpet veterans Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mallika Sherawat to debutants Saif Ali Khan and Minissha Lamba.

We spotted Mallika Sherawat just as she arrived at the Mumbai airport to catch her flight last night.

Mallika was dressed in a kurti and flats -- the last thing you would want to be caught wearing in a fashion hub like the French Riviera.

Looks like Mallika has taken the phrase 'being at home' a little too far.

But Mallika more than made up for her severely underdressed moment with her enthusiasm and smile.

The actress was beaming like it was her first time at the film fest and happily obliged the shutterbugs.

Actress Minissha Lamba, who's going to Cannes for the first time, looks out of the car as she arrives at the airport.

Minissha had spent endless hours planning her wardrobe for Cannes and it shows!

Despite it being 3 am, the actress looked fresh and wore a pair of sassy heels to catch her flight.

Meanwhile, Rohit Roy was also spotted at the airport at the same time. The actor was flying to Venice the same night to attend a wedding.
