Bollywood's show goes on despite heavy rains

Like the rest of Mumbai, film celebrities had a tough time fighting the persistent rains for the last two days.

Sameera Reddy, who was to walk for Manish Malhotra's fashion show, ?was stuck in traffic for several hours. 'Am trying to make it to the #mizwan show! Been stuck on the highway for ages! #Mumbai rains in full force!!!!' she tweeted.

Neha Dhupia, who also walked the ramp, also arrived late. 'Stuck in traffic... Two things I need urgently with all this rain around me is a #carcharger and an #asprin !' she wrote.

As a result, the fashion show for NGO Mijwan Welfare Society was delayed by two hours.

Ram Gopal Varma returns to the horror genre with Bhoot Returns. Watch the teaser

The director shared the first poster of the film on Twitter. 

The film is a sequel to 2003 film Bhoot, and stars Manisha Koirala and JD Chakravarthy in lead roles.

Meanwhile, Varma is busy shooting for his film based on 26/11 Mumbai attacks. He says that recreating the attacks for his film was terrifying. 'Jst shot the taj massacre of 26 11 ...merely recreating it felt terrifying..can't even imagine what the victims would have gone through,' he wrote.

 

Veena Malik turns Drama Queen!

Pakistani actress Veena Malik is all set to release her debut single Drama Queen.

'A new beginning........today is the first day of the rest of my life!!! Working on the #DramaQueen for the last two years secretly....it took more then 700days to make this dream come true...!!!'she tweeted.

The starlet trained in singing for a year before appearing on reality show Bigg Boss. 'I tuk 1year singing classes B4 enterin BB n wen I got out of D house I overheard sum1 saying "Oh she's such a #DramaQueen"..so here I aim!!!' she added.

Ayesha Takia, who was last seen in Mod, says she has no time for movies between her hospitality business and her new television show, Sur Kshetra. 

'Lol i find it hilarious that ppl cant believe that I dont have the mind space to do films anymore, papers still quote me sayin otherwise! Just read an interview of me being misquoted.. Lemme tell ul the truth.... Frankly i dont hav the mind space or inclination to giv time to films,, im very busy with business, travels, family n home. And i super excited about my new show #Surkshetra,' she tweeted.

The show will start on September 8.

Manish Malhotra shared a picture of himself with Karan Johar, Prabhu Deva, Punit Malhotra and Rohit Shetty. 'All the directors walking for my show :-)' he wrote with the picture.
