After spending four months in Yerwada Central Jail in Pune, Sanjay Dutt was granted a 14-day parole for medical reasons -- to treat the blood clots in his legs.
Dutt returned to his Pali Hill residence in Bandra, a western suburb, in the early hours of October 1.

When the media arrived at his home to catch up with the star, Dutt pleaded for privacy.

"With folded hands, I request the press to allow me to spend the little time I have, with my family. I respect the law and will return to jail once the leave gets over. Thank you for your support," he told the media.

Sanjay Dutt is currently serving a 42-month sentence in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.
