8 Facts About The Roshans

Netflix's The Roshans gives us a closer look into the Roshan family: Composer Roshan, his sons Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan and grandson Hrithik Roshan.

When Roshan Lal Nagrath came to Mumbai to become a music composer, it was a struggle. Had director Kidar Sharma not shown faith in him, he may have returned to his hometown after his first flop, Neki Aur Badi (1949).

Rakesh Roshan never made it big as an actor but became a hit director. Here, he's seen with Shatrughan Sinha, whom he directed in 1987's Khudgarz and 1988's Khoon Bhari Maang.

Hrithik Roshan started his career as a child actor in 1986's Bhagwan Dada, starring Rajinikanth. It was directed by Hrithik's maternal grandfather, J Om Prakash.
