It took a former President to get Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt's hands messy.
On October 30, former US President Jimmy Carter invited the actor to the hill-station of Lonavala -- approximately 100 kilometres from Mumbai -- to build houses as part of the 23rd Jimmy Carter Work Project (JCWP) in association with Habitat for Humanity. A day before, the former President and Nobel Peace Prize-winner inaugurated the project at a grand ceremony in Patan, near Lonavala.
The presence of Brad Pitt was a surprise, of course. The actor is currently in India with partner Angelina Jolie, shooting for the film A Mighty Heart.
