Sidharth Malhotra has been getting rave reviews for his bio-pic Shershaah, and the film's producer Karan Johar, who launched the actor in Student Of The Year in 2012, can't stop preening.
"I feel like a proud papa again!" Karan exclaims to Subhash K Jha.
"It's amazing how I feel for all three of them (Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan whom Karan introduced in Student of the Year). That feeling of paternal love kicked in with them."
Alia is now a Sanjay Leela Bhansali heroine, giving Karan more reason to be proud.
"He is going to make her an even better actress than she is, as he does with all his artistes," says Karan.
Interestingly, Karan is all set to direct a love story with Alia and Ranveer Singh, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
