'I will do what the character demands'

When exposing is done for titillation, it will look vulgar. But it's the trend now. And they go all the way. There's a film called Raja Ravi Verma, where the actress has done a nude scene," Richa continues.

Richa adds that India is not ready for nudity yet. "Ranbir Kapoor, in a towel [in Saawariya], created so many headlines, I don't know what they will do to women [in a towel]. There will be riots and some woman's organisation will come forward! Someone will say, 'Yeh hamare culture ke khilaf hai.' It'll take another decade for the audience to respectfully appreciate nudity. But I think the audience is okay with kissing scenes.

"I will do what the character demands. I don't smoke in real life but I will do it on screen for my character," she signs off.
