Shimit Amin's debut film sees Patekar as an honest encounter cop who kills criminals instead of bringing them in.
And even as that sounds like a Dirty Harry synopsis, the film was heavily grounded in reality, and based solidly yet unofficially on the life of Mumbai cop Daya Naik.
Everyone involved acts top-notch, while Nana gives us a masterclass.
