The reception was to start at 7.30 pm. At 8 pm Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan arrived and waited patiently to greet the newlyweds. Jaya looked every bit the Guddi in a cream coloured churidhar that sparkled with bright sequins.
Abhishek was the epitome of a loving son and did not leave her side even for a moment. Jaya chatted with the big uns while he sat silent. He refused all the soft drinks offered to them.
