How was Zoya as a director?
She is mad, fun, crazy and a rocking chick. I love her and it was great working with her. It didn't feel like we were working at all. It was more like friends meeting up.
She is very sure of what she wants. She is like a child who gets excited about anything and everything that was shot. I felt like tying a ribbon around her and presenting her as a gift. She was like a spoilt child. She enjoyed every bit of the shoot and I enjoyed every bit of her madness.
As a director, she is very sensible. She is one of the best directors I have worked with. She has fresh points of views and executes them well. She didn't look like a fist time director. She was completely in control, except when she was excited.
Since the film's leading lady is Konkona, does she shake a leg here?
No. Though she is a part of the sequence, she doesn't dance.
