Salil Ankola - Kurukshetra, TV's Karishma, Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne
Ah, now this one's a performer. Tall, studly and with a dogged, persevering air about him, Ankola projected an easy sincerity.
Not a bad actor by any means, his television work even showed off a gradually increasing screen presence, and he was among the better small-screen actors of the time.
