'We prefer to narrate genuine storylines with a tinge of humour'

In Love in Singapore, the orphaned Machu becomes rich by selling scrap.

Always keeping a low profile, Machu always has his friends -- Shukkoor (Salim Kumar) and Narayanan (Bijukkuttan) by his side. A chance meeting with a Singapore-based businessman Andrews Pereira (Nedumudi Venu) changes Machu's life forever.

Rafi and Mecartin have had a wonderful journey with such movies as Puthukkottayile Puthumanavalan, Punjabi House, Thenkasi Pattanam, Chathikkatha Chanthu and Hallo as directors and Aniyan Bawa Chettan Bawa and Mayavi as script-writers.

"We prefer to narrate genuine storylines with a tinge of humour," Rafi says, explaining their style of filmmaking.
