Bhagyadevatha too deals sensitive and emotional issues.
Jayaram and Kaniha play the leads in the film, of which shooting concluded in Kuttanad recently.
"Benny (Jayaram) is a diploma holder who has taken over the mantle of looking after his family after his father's death. He runs a franchisee of a local TV channel and lives with his mother, played by KPAC Lalitha, two sisters and his grandmother. Benny is a highly ambitious man and as per the advice of some of his friends, he decides to get married. His actual plan to get married was to buy a fishing boat with the dowry. But Daisy (Kaniha), whom he marries, couldn't bring the dowry. Thus, his plans are shattered," says the director.
