'I am more sincere and less serious'

You will be doing Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum to be directed by Krish (Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi). What is the spark you saw in Krish and in the script? His debut film Gamyam, though a small film, did make a splash...

Krish was good at showing the emotions well. He has a fresh idea and the script is getting ready in a few days time. We gelled otherwise too.

Are you doing any other projects?

There is Srinu Vytla's film which is our home production -- a high voltage entertainer which I will take up after shooting Krish's film.

You have just one release this year. Is it a conscious decision?

Yes, next year perhaps there will be two.

How does spirituality help you in your films?

I am detached from the project towards the end. I put in my efforts, I submit, I exit and I accept (whatever be the result). This comes from spiritual sadhana. We tend to cling on to things. I am more sincere and less serious (when serious one thinks of result). Everything is a design -- where your effort plus cosmic design plays a part in life. One has to learn to accept that.
