This 1972 film starred Satyajeet as the young child and Ashok Kumar as his grandfather. Directed by Shakti Samanta, it also starred the director's favourite Rajesh Khanna along with Nutan, Vinod Mehra and Moushumi Chatterjee. It won the Filmfare Award for the Best Film.
