6. Don't Look Now (1973)

This Anglo-Italian thriller starring Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie became famous for its controversial sex scene in 1973, the year it was released. The scenes were so graphic that it sparked rumours that the two lead characters actually had sex. The movie, which was directed by Nicolas Roeg, is about a couple whose marriage is tested after their daughter drowns in a tragic accident.
