Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull is one of those projects that's been on the anvil for years.
Several scriptwriters -- including Frank Darabont and M Night Shyamalan -- wrote their own versions of the script but nothing satisfied both Spielberg and Lucas till David Koepp's script put all issues at rest.
This time, the film is set in 1957 -- 19 years since Last Crusade, so reel-time follows realtime -- and the film pits an older Indy against Soviet agents led by Cate Blanchett.
Young Shia LeBeouf from The Transformers plays an assistant to Indy, and everyone's after the Crystal Skull of Akator, the Soviets convinced it's possession will lend an advantage in the Cold War.
Indy's back in theatres on May 22. Hold on for the ride; bet he'll hold on to his hat.
