Why she is popular: Mini charmed the nation with her sparkling smile and free-spirited style of anchoring in Indian Idol. A successful veejay and theatre artist, she has also hosted shows like Popcorn and Tol Mol Ke Bol.

The reason for her popularity is clearly her ability to get on well with her co-stars. She also handles the emotions of participants and their families with ease.

But we will miss Mini in the fourth season of Indian Idol; she opted out, as she is pregnant with her second child.
