'People reacted best to Bhaiyaji's character'

The film has a lot of Hinglish, which works for the multiplex audiences. But as the film was not screened in multiplexes for a week, do you think the audience who don't understand English will understand the film?

Yes, Tashan was first released in single screen theatres. But the film is such that even people with a smattering of English can understand it. They reacted best to Bhaiyaji's character, who spoke English like those in Uttar Prasesh.

Plus, the key information was supplied by the other characters. Once Bhaiyaji understands a bit of English he only speaks in English, which is bit excessive but then this film is about excessiveness.

Saif has very little to do in second half...

No, I don't think so. The film begins with his introduction, with him and Pooja planning the robbery. It is he who suggests the rape scene to Pooja, and also tells Pooja to seduce Bachchan Pandey. He's on top until the boat scene.
