The dusky and leggy Anu Agarwal and floppy-haired Rahul Roy both made their debuts in director Mahesh Bhatt's melody-laced romance, Aashiqui.

The film traces Anu's journey from a jittery, insecure loner to a sexy model living life on her terms, with some help from beau (played by Roy).

Even if Anu's histrionic abilities are debatable, the former model plays the second half of her character to the T.
