Anuraag asked, Hi Genelie, are you happy working in film industry?
Genelia D'Souza answers, My first impression of the film industry was that it was a big bad world. But today I can't think of another career option. I believe this industry is as professional as any other, and it treats you exactly how you want to be treated. So my experience has been extremely exciting.
richie asked, Genelia you look a very happy go lucky type of person but are you one
Genelia D'Souza answers, I definitely am. I am a very positive person and I believe that there is a solution to everything in life. That is why I don't waste my time whining and being really sad.
nik8 asked, hi genelia are u seeing any one
Genelia D'Souza answers, No, I am very much single.
nits asked, is your voice dubbed in Jaane Tu...?
Genelia D'Souza answers, No, not at all. It was a sync-sound show which means that it had to be my voice.
vikasVIKASPALPAL asked, Hi Genelia, I saw ur only 1 movie and that was Bomerillu. I like it so much though I dont know the language, I loved it very much. I like ur flawless emotions. Best of luck for ur future. I hope u r the same in reel life & real life. bye, take care
Genelia D'Souza answers, Thank you so much.
S_Nikhil asked, your first movie in lead road?it must be a south movie
Genelia D'Souza answers, Not really. My first movie was in Hindi. It was called Tujhe Meri Kasam which released in 2003. I also debuted in Tamil and Telugu the same year.
abhinav asked, hey...genelia..u were awesome in mere baap pehle aap....howz ur role different 4rm it in jaane tu..??
Genelia D'Souza answers, It is extremely different. Firstly, there's the age thing. In Jaane Tu, I play a collegian while in Mere Baap Pehle Aap my character is on the verge of completing her post-graduation. Obviously the characterisation of a 20-year-old and that of a 23-year-old would be totally different.
Shahid asked, Hi genelia, If you would have been given a chance to work either with Amir or Imran khan. What would you choose?
Genelia D'Souza answers, I don't find it necessary to choose. In fact I have been lucky to get a chance to work with both Aamir (producer) and Imran in Jaane Tu.
Jamshed asked, adityakec says, tell me sumthing bout ur educational background and y u selected acting as a careear
Genelia D'Souza answers, I have done my bachelor in management studies. I genuinely didn't think of acting as a career. It is something that came my way and I am glad it did.
Genelia D'Souza says, Thanks guys. It has been awesome talking and listening to all of you. I guess it is the perfect idea of interaction and I think rediff.com has done a great job in getting me here. Lots of love and do keep watching my films and giving in your opinions. Bye.
