Film: The Stone Council

Plot: Laura Siprein wonders whether she's losing her mind. For some weeks, nightmares and hallucinations have thrown her into a state of uncontrollable anxiety. Who exactly is her son Liu-San? What does the strange mark that has appeared on his torso signify?
A few days before his seventh birthday, he is kidnapped. Ready to do anything to save her son, Laura throws herself into an adventure at the edges of the strange and supernatural.
About the director: Author and director of several palys, scholarship recipient from the National School of Literature, Guillaume Nicloux was just 18 when he started his own theatre company La Troup. He got involved with movies in 1990 when he made his first feature film, The Flying Children (selected for the Berlin, Montreal, Toronto and Los Angeles film festivals), which he wrote and directed with actress Anemone's assistance.
He then directed a television drama, Puncture Life with Michel Piccoli, for the French/German cultural channel Arte before directing his second feature, Happiness is No Joke (1995), which was shown at the Cannes International Film Festival, and at the Montreal, Rotterdam and Namur film festivals.
Le Poulpe, with Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Clotide Courau is his third film.
