Successful businessman and hotelier Suniel Shetty faced a lot of pressure from his friends when he decided to try his luck in acting. His well-toned and muscular physique helped. But his biggest drawback was that he did not look like a chocolate hero, and had limited acting skills.

Yet, his first film, Balwaan (1992) was a hit, followed by other hits like Mohra, Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri. He even tried tasted success in a negative role in Main Hoon Na.

He may not be a great actor. Not have great looks. But he still has his fans.
