Sudhir Mishra's fictional account of the Golden Fifties may not be an Om Shanti Om brand of success. Even so cine lovers are likely to be fascinated by its visual charisma and underlying layers.

The story unfolds through the eyes of its lively heroine; Nikhat (Soha) Her vivid journey from a naïve newcomer to an established star spans several moods and moments of show business and its enigmatic history. While not exactly a tour de force performance, Soha is at her earnest best.
