Do'h, indeed.

After giving us 18 years of television, the longest running comedy in the world came to the big screen and, quite simply, painted the planet yellow. This is a joyous self-celebration, a film that itself can't quite believe its luck: that people would come to theatres to watch something they can get on TV for free.

But pay we gladly will, because Springfield is the greatest place on earth. Well okay, maybe great should be spelt crummiest, but come on. Any world with Groundskeeper Willie and Comic Book Store Owner Guy is special, and Bart and Lisa and Marge and Maggie all rally around in this super family drama.

As for Homer Simpson, he could run for God.
