Soori says, "You will relate to many of the incidents in the film. It is like turning the pages of your life and seeing the imprint of what had happened before. The incidents in the film are real. I have written the story based on my own experiences and what I have seen in other people's lives."

He continues, "As you know, I stay in a place surrounded by slums. There I would spend lot of time looking at what was happening at the nearby Government-owned hospital where thousands of poor and lower middle class people come for treatment. My experiences can very well replicate as the experience of many people."
