Makers of Mungaru Male and Duniya unite

The two films that made a difference to the Kannada film industry in recent times are Mungaru Male and Duniya.

And the two brightest stars in the industry's horizon are the films' directors Yogaraj Bhat and his protege Soori.

The two met when Bhat noticed Soori's talent as an art director in tele-serials. Bhat, a director of tele-serials himself, found the youngster to be exceptionally talented, and asked him to write dialogues for his films like Mani and Ranga S.S.L.C.

Soori, who started off as a painter (trained at Ken Art School and Abhinaya Tharanga) then worked with directors like Sadhu Kokila as an associate director. Duniya, his first film won many state awards and was also a resounding success at the box office.

Now both these directors are coming together in a new film, Inthi Ninna Preethiya -- Bhat is presenting the film while Soori is directing it. The duo are also the producers of the film along with Subramanya who had worked with Ravichandran in many films.
