This was one of the first Hindi suspense thrillers, which catapulted 16-year old Madhubala to fame.

The film also gave Lata Mangeshkar one of her earliest hit songs, Aayega Aanewala, which was picturised on the beautiful actress.

Madhubala's co-star was Ashok Kumar, a big star in those days.
