The red outfit during the Suttum Vizhi Chudare song could have been carried off only by him. Surya's attire accentuated his character: serious and dogged but fascinated and loving, when in Kalpana's company.
As for Asin, the girl looked beautiful no matter what she wore from the chains and locks in the Rahatulla song, to the sari in a Hamam ad.
