9 Tashan mein, Tashan and Haule Haule, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
Despite the stars and scale, Tashan's quirky flamboyance didn't go down well the audience. Fair enough. That aside, you cannot deny its title track, composed by Vishal-Shekhar, a proud spot on this list. The gritty ardour with which Vishal Dadlani and Saleem bring the house down in this thrilling fusion of rustic and ruthless is just the kind of stuff adrenalin pumps on.

As the title suggests, this one, like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi's central protagonist Surinder Sahni, doesn't belong in the instant attraction category. Salim-Sulaiman's emotionally rich, harmonium-friendly Haule haule takes some time to grow on the listener but once you pick the bait, there's no way Sukhwinder Singh's fervent chanting is going to let go of you.
