Ah, queenie, whatever happened to ya? Last notable in Karan Johar's distressful Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna back in 2006, 2007 was a horrid year for Rani with Ta Ra Rum Pum, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Saawariya.
This year we did glimpse her painfully Punjabi reimagining of Mary Poppins in Kunal Kohli's Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, but where's Rani the actress? Haven't seen her for a while, and the screen could do with an effective leading lady.
When to see her next: Raqeeb director Anurag Singh is reported to be working with her and Shahid Kapoor in a yet-untitled project, for release next year.
