Rajnikant's best dialogues

Muthu (1995)

'Naan eppa varuven, eppadi varuvennu yarukkum theriyadhu; aana varavendiya neratthil correct-aga varuven.' (I do not know when I will arrive, or how. But I will arrive when I have to.)

Those were the fun-filled days of Rajni -- when people wondered whether he would become a politician or not. All his statements and moves at the time sent fans into a tizzy.

His role in Muthu might be that of a devoted servant to his master but the screenplay was designed to throw spotlight on a man, who was destined to become a leader. With many opportunities to comment on the character's goodness, nobility, and how fit he was to rule, Muthu naturally complimented Rajni's dialogues, sending veiled messages to whoever wanted to listen.
