Shammi Kapoor in Betaab
The casting was spot-on. The character of Sardar Dinesh Singh Girji is meant to be all about wealth and power, and Shammi slipped effortlessly into the role.
A tycoon well in love with horses, this was a performance that might have occasionally gone overboard -- as the genre demanded -- but never once struck a false note.
