The Greatest Show On Earth (1952)
This film marked a turning point for Heston. Directed by Cecil B DeMille, Heston starred as the rugged no-nonsense manager of a circus.
The film, which won an Oscar for best film, also starred Jimmy Stewart, Betty Hutton, Dorothy Lamour, Cornel Wilde and Gloria Grahame (in the picture).
