From playing Moses in The Ten Commandents (and speaking in God's voice, no less) to fighting with apes in The Planet Of The Apes, Heston has done it all.

The actor passed away on April 5, but he left us an impressive legacy. We take a look at his memorable roles:

Dark City (1950)

After starring in a couple of television productions, Heston made his Hollywood debut with this noir film about a bookie, fallen on hard times.

Directed by William Dieterle, the thriller also starred Lizabeth Scott and Viveca Lindfors. The reviews were encouraging, with Variety terming Heston's debut as 'impressive.'
