Tamil film set for Hollywood premiere
It is against this backdrop that the veteran filmmaker is coming back with a bilingual -- Bommalattam in Tamil and Cinema in Hindi.
Bommalattam is said to be quite different from the usual Bharatiraja film -- it is about a filmmaker and a film within a film.
He wanted to make the film in Hindi as he felt the theme of the thriller was more apt for Hindi. That was why he decided to have Nana Patekar in the lead and Himesh Reshammiya to compose music.
Later he decided to do it in Tamil too. Now the film has two heroes; Nana Patekar and 'action king' Arjun. The heroines are Kajal Agarwal and Rukmini Vijayakumar.
