There were many candidates, and the most popular was not from the latest and bolder Bollywood, but one from 1988. The film was Dayavan which featured one of the longest smooches in Bollywood between a very young Madhuri Dixit and a much older Vinod Khanna.
Directed by Feroz Khan -- who also starred in the film as Vinod Khanna's buddy -- the movie tells the story of a gangster and a prostitute (Madhuri) and their attempt to live an honourable life.
