Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai
It wasn't love at first sight for Mr and Mrs Abhishek Bachchan.
Despite working in couple of films like Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke and Kuch Na Kaho, the two never hit it off exceptionally. (Probably because the stunning duo was committed elsewhere.)
J P Dutta's Umrao Jaan, however, did the trick. In the film, Abhishek may have left Ash heartbroken. But in reality, he fell head over heels in love.
Their chemistry was for all to see in Mani Ratnam's Guru. The film's success paled in comparison to the crazy paparazzi attention their liaison received. A hush-hush engagement led to a high profile marriage (miserably failed at remaining low scale) that pretty much enjoyed a live telecast on every channel worth its salt.
Every now and then, any appearance by Abhishek and Ash sends the media in a tizzy.
