Like Ganesh, Vijay was another actor who struggled to create an identity in the Kannada film industry. Director Soori 'discovered' the talent in him and gave him the role of a lifetime in Duniya.

He proved that he is certainly one of the most talented actors of recent times. His emotions were perfect and the action sequences terrific.
