Dhoom and Dhoom 2
Here's a quick recipe for success: First, rope in the stars, then get them in shape, give them a hot, sexy look and throw in tons of edge-of-the seat chase sequences and adventurous robberies. Then? Go and cash in the big bucks! Two years later, make a sequel. Repeat the procedure.
The brains behind Yashraj Films—Yash and Aditya Chopra know it all too well.
Dhoom gave a new lease of life to the then sagging careers of Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Esha Deol. It also established their image as style icons.
Though nothing quite matches up to the Dhoom:2 effect. Hrithik Roshan raged and rocked! Aishwarya Rai played the arm candy from heaven. Bipasha Basu giggled in striped bikinis and burgundy hairdos. Abhishek Bachchan, well, he was there too.
In all fairness, it was Hrithik and his multiple avatars against all. What can we say? The man's a multistarrer in his own right.
