Music directors pretending stealing just one or two songs is okay
Shantanu Moitra and Pritam need to be rapped on the knuckles, hard.
They're good composers, who end up cobbling together interesting and innovative soundtracks. But both can't seem to do without looking to the world outside to get themselves a hit or two in every single album.
While Pritam heads to Malaysia and Korea to find his chartbusters, Moitra filches them from classic Western standards. Yet, because the songs work and the albums are compelling overall, these guys are having a blast ripping off and rocking.
