Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was a surprise flop due to many reasons. Firstly, it was produced by Yash Raj Filmd, which had a reputation for its Midas touch until last year.

Secondly, its music -- by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy -- was a huge hit, and everyone expected the film to be as good.

And lastly, it was directed by Shaad Ali, who gave us hits like Bunty Aur Babli and Saathiya before Jhoom.
