However, Chiranjeevi's Shankardada Zindabad (the sequel to Shankardada M.B.B.S) was quite a disappointment at the box office. So was Mahesh's Athidhi even though it's still running in the theatres.

Happy Days is a smash blockbuster and is surely hurtling towards the 100-days mark. The film has done remarkably well for a simple script with non-actors, who are now 'stars'.

Happy Days has also ushered in the 'corporatisation' in the Telugu film industry with names like Pantaloons, Big FM and more involved in it.
