Mamta's first entry into the industry was through playback singing in films like the NTR Jr starrer Rakhee where she sang Rakhee Rakhee....

She sang a couple more songs like Aakelesthe...(Shankardada M.B.B.S) which was on top of the charts for quite a while.

This tall and svelte girl from Kerala can also act as evident from her debut film Yamadonga. Armed with a fantastic physique, husky voice, oodles of confidence and loads of glamour, Mamta came to the Telugu industry after doing Malayalam and Tamil films.
