It has been an eventful year for Tamil cinema. There were experiments in filmmaking as well as the huge blockbuster Sivaji: The Boss.
While we have seen some of the top films from the industry, let us look at the actors who grabbed our attention with their powerhouse performances:
Actor: Satyaraj
Films: Periyar, Onbathu Roobai Nottu
Without batting an eyelid, we can say that 2007 belonged to one of the most talented yet underestimated actors in Tamil -- Satyaraj.
While his performance as Periyar in Periyar can have no parallels, the moving one in Thankar Bachan's Onbathu Roobai Nottu left not a dry eye in the house.
