First came the 1980s Bollywood blockbuster Don starring Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman. A Tamil remake, Billa starring superstar Rajnikanth followed.
Now, another Tamil remake is all set to hit the screens.
Directed by Vishnu Vardhan, Billa (yes, it shares the same name as the Rajni starrer) is all set for an all India release on December 14 as well as internationally.
The film boasts of exotic locales with 80 per cent of the movie shot in Malaysia.
And the cast? Well, the film boasts of some big names like Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara, Prabhu Ganesan, Rahman, Namitha and Rose Dawn in a guest appearance.

It has always been Ajith's dream to play Billa, and judging from the promos and the trailer of the film, it is evident that no other actor in the Tamil film industry could have pulled off the character quite like he did.
