'I'm itching to do funny roles'

Heyy Babyy is being promoted as a comedy. Did you get to make the audience laugh?

Actually, I don't, and that's unfortunate. I drive the emotional side of the film's story. Even with Lage Raho Munnabhai, I did not get the comic content. I am actually itching to do some funny role, and am counting on Sajid to give me one. Maybe in his next film.

Apparently, you were the victim of pranks on the sets of Heyy Babyy? Did you play any pranks yourself?

Yes, I was a victim of many pranks, but it was all in good humour. Believe me, with Sajid, Akshay, Riteish and Fardeen on the sets, you just can't keep the pranks away.

In fact, I planned a big one on Akshay. He had pretended to be a radio jockey with some Asian channel in Australia, and kept on doing a phone interview with me for 30 minutes! So what I did was, I got a lot of clocks with alarms, and timed them to ring after one hour for the whole night. Unfortunately, that night was an India-Pakistan cricket match. The men spent all night watching the game, so my prank backfired.
