Elvises pay tribute to The King
|
Known only as Elvis, one of the most popular impersonators is pictured here, performing in London's Palladium theatre on August 12.
Born on January 8, 1935, Elvis' premature, drug-and-cholesterol induced death at 42 shocked the world -- but left shockwaves throughout pop culture. Nothing was the same after Elvis happened. 'Nothing really affected me until I heard Elvis. If there hadn't been an Elvis, there wouldn't have been a Beatles,' said John Lennon.
